Reputedly once the favourite public lavatory of Wilde, Orton, Gielgud & Crisp, CellarDoor is now an intimate bar beneath Covent Garden, in a space just big enough for cats to swing – imagine 30’s Berlin meets New York speakeasy. We’re open for illicit libations, flirtations & delectations from 4pm daily (or 2pm - when we have one of our ticketed afternoon events).

Whilst, once the clock strikes 9pm, CellarDoor transforms into London’s most decadent nightspot with a nightly selection of Drag Queens, Divas, Blues & Burlesque. There's no door charge but, because our acts cannot survive on your applause & plaudits alone, a discretionary Live Not Dead 10% Artistes' Gratuity is charged after 9pm. We also respectfully (but insistently!) ask you to buy at least one drink per set.

Retro Hour (before 8pm)
2 for 1 on selected cocktails, bubbles & beers. You don't have to book and can just come down - but to guarantee a seat we recommend reserving tables (from anytime before 9pm) - we take a small (non-refundable) £20pp deposit and, in homage to Oscar & our decadent forebears, subtract 20 Guineas (ie £21 pp) from your final bill.

Late Night Cabaret (after 9pm)
You still don't have to book, but to guarantee entry (if you're coming down after 9pm or all the tables have been reserved) you can take advantage of VIP Entry with a complimentary glass of bubbles or beer and a line of white/black snuff.

After Midnight Nightcaps
Come the witching hour, our Fallen Angel will offer delectable nightcaps ensuring sweet dreams are made of this.

Weekend Afternoon Events (from 2pm)
