CellarDoor is an intimate bar beneath the Aldwych in a space just big enough for cats to swing – imagine 30’s Berlin meets New York speakeasy. We’re open for illicit libations from 4pm daily (2pm Saturdays). 

Whilst, once the clock strikes 9pm, CellarDoor transforms into London’s most decadent nightspot with a selection of Drag Queens, Divas, Blues & Burlesque across the week. There's no door charge but, because our artistes cannot survive on your applause & plaudits alone, a discretionary Live Not Dead 10% gratuity is charged after 9pm.

Retro Hour (before 8pm)
2 for 1 on selected cocktails, bubbles & beers. You don't have to book and can just come down - but to guarantee a seat we recommend reserving a table (from anytime before 9pm) - we take a small (non-refundable) £20pp deposit and, in homage to Oscar & our Victorian forebears, take 21 Guineas (ie £21pp) off your final bill.

Late Night Cabaret (After 9pm)
You still don't have to book, but to guarantee entry (if you're coming down after 9pm) you can buy a ticket for £15 that comes with a complimentary glass of bubbles or beer and a line of white or black snuff.
